  • Booking a newborn session is very simple and is secured using your due date. Most babies never arrive on their due date, so I allow a few weeks on either side if they're early or late. Once they've joined us, we confirm a suitable session time for you to come into the studio.

  • Absolutely! This is a very special time for you all as a family. You are welcome to join in for as many parent and sibling photos as you like (I want to capture this love and connection with the family you've created).

I also remember what it was like as a new parent in the first few days after birth, and if you don't feel up to being ‘fully’ in photos, this is ok too. You can still be present with your little one in their photos by connecting with them in your hands and holding their tiny fingers and feet (think of looking back in 10 years and remembering how tiny they fitted in the palm of your hands.

  • Not all babies sleep for their full newborn session. Many stay awake for the first part and this is perfectly ok, especially if you've travelled and they've slept in the car.

This awake time allows up to capture your little one's personality and connect with you. These are always some of the parent's favourite moments.

  • After your initial booking is made, you’ll be emailed a session guide with helpful tips on what to expect and how you can prepare that morning so your little one is content.

All you need to bring along is yourselves and your baby’s feeds. My studio is fully equipped with everything we need, from nappies to wraps and those adorable knitted outfits.

  • We all want to look our best in photographs, and I've prepared a family styling guide with a tone of suggestions on outfits from colour palette for different times of the year to adding in textures.

  • Feeling comfortable in your outfit choice and feeling like yourself is the best start to feeling comfortable in for of the camera. Secondly, I’m there as your friend who also happens to have a camera. Helping you decide on a location that creates a comfortable and private space will allow you to relax and connect as a family. I want to capture your family's genuine love, laughter and connection. It is important that your children warm up to me and feel comfortable first. (I have many games up my sleeve for this).
